Bakura |
Before meeting Nagera, Bakura loved their solitude and never really felt lonely existing alone for so long after the death of their mother when they were still just a pup, but after their first encounter with Naga they started to feel the loneliness more then ever. After Naga chose to stay nearby, they felt calmer and happier then they had been in a long time. Bakura is almost always wearing their Dark Brown Cowboy hat and they never take off their Beaded Chain and Red Crest. They wear a small Black Band around the base of their tail and two thin Black Ropes around their front right (white) sock. The white stripe on their fore-head leads to their completely white neck, covering the start of their dark grey back-stripe which actually begins at their nose. They have a Golden Cuff in their right ear and they wear a small Golden Ring around their right toe as a symbol of their connection to Nagera.

Nagera is extremely loyal and she was driven from her previous pack, branded a disgrace for something she could not control. Her parents named her Najiro and made her believe from pup-hood that she was a male due to her anatomy, however she wholeheartedly believes she is female and took on the name Nagera. After the pack elder found out about her belief and new name, she was banished. Since then she has done her utmost to help anyone who needs it, not wanting anyone to feel lost or abandoned like she was. After Bakura showed her the kindness she had never gotten from her own family, she felt compelled to stay by the grey wolf's side and vowed loyalty to them. Not once since has she betrayed Bakura in any way and she often goes out of her way to ensure the happiness of their little pack of five. She has a males reproductive system along with the smaller, sleek body of a female and a voice to match. The Bandages around her mid-section are never removed (Except for when she changes them or when they are burnt away when her scar heats up) and hidden beneath them is a burn looking scar in the shape of a twisted hook. It is unknown if she was born with them or if they were done to her at a young age but they link to her ability to control fire, which when in use makes the scar glow pale red and turns her eyes golden. While her fire doesn't harm her, the heat produced from her scar, as it glows with the use of her powers, singes the surrounding fur which can take days to heal afterwards. Her head, back paws and tail are a slightly darker red then her body and her darkest patterns are actually a very dark red, not black in color. The two Bluejay feathers she wears are always behind her right (Red) ear and she wears the same small Golden Ring as Bakura around her Right Toe.

Greyson |
Greyson, despite being the smallest of the litter is actually the eldest. Due to his size, he always sticks close to his grey mother. His shy nature and extreme attachment to Bakura causes him to stress out when they are separated for more then half-an-hour. His siblings are able to keep him relatively calm for a while but it ends in him crying until Bakura comes to his aid. He does eventually grow out of this attachment and Bakura is proud of the progress he has made. After learning of his red mothers ordeal as a teen, he spends at least a couple hours a day in silent vigil over the den-site, his vigil's become longer over time in his attempt ensure their safety. When their time comes, Bakura's prized hat is eventually passed on to him as it was to them from their own mother.

Jaden being the largest of the three siblings takes his position as the 'big brother' very seriously and he is very protective of young Lexi, the only female in their litter. He spends a great deal of time training with his red mother in an attempt to become stronger to ensure he can protect his smaller siblings should a time come that they require his defence. He also joins his mothers on every hunt and occasionally sits with Grey during the elders daily vigil over their den-site, however after all this he still always has time to play with their little sister who he simply adores. Jaden, like his older brother, also gets a prized possession but from his red mother, her inherits the elders bluejay feathers which he treasures dearly and wears behind his Left (Red) Ear.

Jaden |
Alexis |
Alexis, the youngest of three with two older brothers never felt fear or sadness, always relying Jaden to protect her and Grey to cheer her up should her mood fall. She loves spending time with both her mothers in equal amounts and looks forward to the time Jaden puts aside to spend with her. She found a love of hunting after watching her mothers do such and has since joined in on every hunt, loving the thrill of chase and happy to be able to feed the family. Though she can't understand why Grey spends so much time watching over their den-site, she will check in from time to time with him to ensure he is okay. Having spent much of her time as a newborn fascinated with the Red Star, after Bakura's passing, like her brothers, Alexis received a keepsake for herself. She was left her grey mothers precious beads and crest, which she wears around her neck with pride.

Their Story
Bakura met Nagera when the latter, exhausted and drenched from the stormy downpour, trudged into their den seeking shelter from the rain and thunder. Nagera's presence awoke Bakura from slumber and immediately on alert, the Grey Wolf attacked the sodden Red Wolf. The two rolled back out into the rain and after a tense discussion, Bakura reluctantly allowed what they assumed to be a male to take shelter within their den, no names were exchanged as Nagera feared the same rejection which lead to the current situation. The two returned inside and Bakura watched the male sleep, eventually following the Red Wolf into slumber. Come morning, Nagera had fallen ill and was unable to move. Bakura, worried for the stranger, gathered food and water, and cared for him throughout the week it took him to recover. Neither spoke for the duration of his illness. As Bakura took in his rundown appearance and the bandages adorning his sides, many questions formed within their head regarding the stranger and Bakura was itching to get answers. When their guest was better and able to move again, he got up to leave. Offended by his rudeness after everything they had done for him, Bakura demanded an explanation from him and the red wolf explained that his presence was only going to endanger Bakura as a few members of his old pack were still chasing him. He had to leave as soon as possible to avoid dragging them into his fight. Afterwards Bakura allowed him to leave, but after he was gone they couldn't help but feel alone again.
On impulse, Bakura dragged a couple large leaves to cover the entrance to their den and stalked after their new companion. They had been moving through the forest for over an hour when Bakura heard them. They must have known where Nagera had been hiding for the last week and had just been waiting for him to leave before making their move. Bakura could tell that Nagera knew he was being followed by the red wolf's quickened pace and ruffled fur. Bakura scaled a nearby tree and crouched low to the branch, to observe without being spotted. When the five wolves appeared in the distance, running full speed after Nagera, Bakura waited till they were within range and leapt out of the tree. They tackled the closest pursuer to the ground, knocking him unconscious with the force of their body and snarled at the remaining members who skidded to a halt a few meters from Bakura to take in the body of their fallen pack mate. Bakura confronted them about why they were chasing their red friend and they told them that he was a freak and his banishment should have been death instead.
Despite knowing it wasn't their place to interfere, Bakura couldn't help but feel the need to protect the stranger she had befriended over the past week and made a deal with the pack. If Bakura could defeat them, they would respect the red wolfs banishment and leave him be, but if they could not, Bakura would stand aside and not interfere. The wolves agreed and the four of them attacked as one. They were skilled defenders and Bakura was only one wolf, they managed to knock another one of the attackers unconscious but in doing so they had taken a blow to the head and was too dazed to see the next attack coming. Before it could land though Nagera leapt into the fray and the attacker dropped to the ground, rolling around to try and put out the fire which had lit up his fur. Nagera arched his back (his now burnt bandages falling away from his body), snarling viciously before a still dazed Bakura. They could just see through their blurred vision that a symbol was glowing on the red wolfs visible side, slightly singing the fur surrounding it, and flames were leaping from his paws. It was the last thing Bakura saw before they fell into unconsciousness.
When Bakura came too, they were in their den and Nagera was sat guard at the cave's entrance. Bakura, still not conscious enough to move, enquired about why the wolves were chasing him and when Nagera glanced back over his shoulder, he softly explained what was going on. She said that her name was Nagera, she was actually a female and that her old pack believed that she was cursed which resulted in her banishment. Bakura just smiled at her with a small nod and a swish of their limp tail, happy to finally know the strangers name. Bakura then let sleep take them again, now un-afraid of the stranger in their den. Nagera just smiled back, before she looked out, enjoying the falling rain on her tired face. She was finally happy knowing she had found someone that would finally accept her for who she was inside.
